Dentist Local Decontamination Unit

Dentist afterDentist insideOur clients operate a super busy Dentist practice in Drumchapel and, as with many, they desperately needed more space to treat patients but couldn't sacrifice their LDU (Local Decontamination Unit) within the surgery. They had an old dilapidated garage in the back garden which had enormous potential to solve many problems! We were therefore tasked with securing a building warrant for an LDU room in place of said old, tired garage, and this is the result! Dentist interior

The Room had to have a very specific workflow approved by the relevant authorities with appropriate sanitary ware and a ventilation system which delivered 10 ACH (air changes per hour). Specialist, non-porous flooring was fitted by the practice contractors,  and opaque glass on the double glazing was installed for security. 

Clearly this is a far more attractive, purposeful building than was previously there and has ensured a further practicioner could operate from the room made available inside the surgery!
