UNO Midi Pottery studio with balcony

Pottery garden room viewWith a sizeable garden and views across the Stirlingshire countryside, where better to pop a Pottery Studio than right here! In a conservation area in Bridge of Allan, the room was being used with a sink and kiln therefore both planning permission and a building warrant were required so we navigated the entire process for our client. Garden room with sinkOnce the compliance paperwork was through, we set to work building the room on a ground screw foundation which can easily handle the sloping site. One of the main components was a mighty kiln for firing Amy's lovely creations therefore the floor had to be built up to cope with the weight and heat it would generate. The sink had to feature a clay trap below to ensure the drains werea protected from waste. The electrical install had to be upgraded to handle the demands of the kiln.
