Uno Grand Garden Room for entertaining

Rob & Rhona wanted an entertaining space to add to their home so approached ourselves and another company for a Garden Room quote. We worked closely together to evolve and create design options and, with their budget in mind, we reached a solution that suited all. Thankfully, they placed their business with Outside In.

The couple had recently secured an extra bit of land which was ideal for the room and, with a background in construction, Rob prepared the ground expertly ahead of our arrival. We started the build in July with the project completed not long after. 

The dark painted wall and the herringbone floor were lovely touches and the extended composite decking created a fabulous outdoor space that more than complemented the indoor.

To maximise wall space, the room is heated by ceiling-mounted Infrared panels which, instead of directly heating the air in a room, heat the walls, ceiling and floor evenly which absorbs the heat and gently re-emits it back into the room. This is more efficient than conventional heating systems which waste energy by heating large volumes of air.

As mentioned, Rob works in construction therefore it was always a tall order working for someone in the know who was a real stickler for detail but the team rose to the challenge and at the end of the project, he and Rhona were delighted with the result.
