Far more than just a fancy shed

Many people start off thinking they can turn a simple garden shed into a workspace but soon learn, for a variety of reasons, that using a shed as an office for long periods of time simply doesn’t work. And that’s before the weather starts to turn and the shed becomes an outdoor freezer that's very damp inside!

Our bespoke Garden Rooms, which can be used as gyms, cinemas, offices, studios, craft rooms or anything else you can imagine, are fully insulated from the floor to the roof with high-performance materials. Designed with you to maximise your available space, each beautiful pod adds a versatile and year-long useable room to your garden. 

Timber Kit

We construct all of our garden rooms using our own custom-made timber kit panels. This allows us to build incredibly strong panels for the walls, floor and roof which sandwich a 70mm insulation board in between. Once the timber kit shell is in place we wrap it in a fire retardant foil which not only weatherproofs the building but also offers a further layer of insulation.

An insulated roof that lives

The roof of our bespoke garden room is fully insulated as standard and is then covered using a single synthetic EPDM rubber membrane cut specifically to the size of your room. A single sheet means no joins or weak spots that water could potentially penetrate. We also offer an optional sedum roof. The Sedum roof consists of a blanket of hardy vegetation specifically grown to be virtually maintenance-free and resist anything the Scottish weather can throw at it. The Sedum roof brings the dual benefits of attracting pollinating insects and acting as an additional layer of insulation.

Laminate Flooring

Over many years of building custom garden rooms across central Scotland, we’ve learned that one of the best floorings relevant to the nature of a garden room is the latest generation of Quick-Step laminates which offer class-leading water resistance and due to the insulation below, ensures no cold toes! 

High Thermal Performance Windows and Doors

As standard, we fit the latest in UPVC windows and doors finished in Anthracite grey. You can also specify bi-folds doors to really open up the space and make the room part of the garden. Whether you opt for standard windows and doors or bi-folds, they all offer the same thermal performance and will keep your home warm, quiet and safe all throughout the year.
