Outside In Glamping Snugs looking lovely in Skye

We recently delivered two completed Solo Glamping Snugs to our client in Portree on the gorgeous Isle of Skye in the north of Scotland.

Our client has an existing B & B which runs at full capacity throughout the tourist season (and is pretty full outwith that!) and had a large disused back courtyard that was crying out for extra self catering accommodation. We were tasked with securing planning permission for the development then delivering two fully finished units to the site. 

Sitting side by side, the rooms are a mirror image of each other to provide identical accommodation for two people. Once on site, solar panels were added to the roof of the building adding to the sustainability of the development. Hemp insulation in the walls means the rooms are warm in winter yet can breathe in the warmer summer days (I'd say months but lets be honest that's unlikely!!).

Internally the rooms are separated into living dining / sleeping / ensuite spaces with full head height internally making the rooms a fabulous home from home experience for guests.
