Beautiful conservation village Garden Room

EdgeThis beautiful, tranquil spot within a walled garden in the East Lothian conservation village of Aberlady, was once a disused, awkward, and overgrown space! When we first arrived, the client was unsure what to do with it other than she desperately wanted a garden room. We had our reservations that the local council would be happy with the plans but, due to the sympathetic materials and non-controversial structure, the planning application flew through without issue!

The space was very unusual therefore some careful planning and collaboration between ourselves and our chums at No More Digging was required to create the shape for the room.

The garden room is 4.2m wide to the front and tapers away to fit perfectly in the space. The room is accessed via aluminium bi-fold doors which allows maximum light and the ability to open the room wide to the gorgeous seating area beyond.
